Hi neighbors!
I hope this message finds you well and enjoying a peaceful holiday season. Like many of you, these past 3-4 months have been particularly challenging. Unfortunately, the challenges have been somewhat overwhelming since early fall, and my performance as Treasurer of PEHOA hasn’t always matched my desire to serve. I sincerely apologize to those affected personally by this.
With that in mind, I want to let you know that I will be stepping down as Treasurer as of January 1st. Angie Hinkle will be taking over the role, and I hope you’ll show her the same level of support and understanding that you’ve so graciously extended to me over the past four years.
Looking ahead, I’m pleased to share that for those of you receiving Trash Service through PEHOA, Republic will take over the administration of the waste removal program starting in the new year—without affecting our discount. Beginning in January, you will receive quarterly bills for trash services directly from Republic, and payments will also go directly to them.
For any concerns—missed pickups, bulk pickups, replacement bins, etc.— you’ll now contact Republic instead of PEHOA. They offer several ways to connect, including their smartphone app, website, phone line, and email.
Lastly, please note that in the next couple of weeks, PEHOA will be billing current members for dues only, which remain at $30 per year. You still must be a paid member of PEHOA in order to receive trash services from Republic with the discount.
Thank you so much for the grace you’ve shown me over the past four years. I hope you’ll extend that same grace to Angie and the rest of the truly wonderful people on your PEHOA Board in the coming years. It has been an honor to serve as your Treasurer, and I’m so grateful for the opportunity to contribute to our community.
Beth Lewis, PEHOA Treasurer
